Agrilià is a countryside location on the road that connects Zakros to Xerocampos (no inhabitants were reported here in the 2011 national census, source Wikipedia.gr).
The landscape in which Agrilià is inserted is interesting, given the presence in the area of rocky and arid hills cut by gorges that on one side lead to the coastal area of Katsounaki (initial part of the coast of Xerocampos) and on the other are the entrance to the plain and to the slopes cultivated with wheat and olive trees that lead to Zakros.
In Agrilià there are very few houses, some in poor condition and practically abandoned and others well maintained and used by farmers, shepherds and some tourists who in recent years have found here their own corner of tranquility.
