Ingredients

For the pastry: ½ kg flour - water - 2 spoons of olive oil - salt - lemon juice

 

For the filling

ricotta cheese or feta cheese

Preparation

We prepare the pastry with flour,  water,  olive oil, and lemon juice.

We spread the pastry in a thin layer and we cut circles using a glass.

We put the cheese in a bowl

and we work it with a fork to make it soft.

We add a tea spoon of the filling on the half of the pita, we close it with the other half.

We fry the pite in hot oil.

 (the filling can vary using different cheese and adding herbs like dill or parsley)
