Ingredients

 

1 Kg of meat

(beef or lamb)

 

½ glass of olive oil

 

4/5 ripe tomatoes

½ Kg of small macaroni

 

salt

pepper

grated cheese

Preparation

 

We cut the meat in small pieces, we wash it and we put it in a baking pan, traditionally it should be a pottery pan.

 

We season it with salt and pepper and we cover it with the finely sliced tomatoes. We add the oil and a cup of water and put it in the oven to bake at medium temperature.

 

Once almost ready, we add 4 glasses of warm water, the macaroni and the relative salt. We mix all together and we continue the baking for another 15 minutes (less if you prefer the macaroni “al dente”).
