Koufonissi Islands

Strongilò, Makroulò,

Trachilas,

the little Marmara

and the

larger

Koufonissi

(the ancient Lefkì)

form this wild

and

uninhabited archipelago.

The ruins

of the

Roman amphitheatre

and port trace

to an

important past

for this angle

of the

Mediterranean

really unique;

but all

Koufonissi

is worth being visited

with the

deserted beaches, the sea caves

and its

crystal sea.
