The beautiful lagoon of Bàlos,

Can be reached by road in about 40 minutes from Kìssamos-Kastèli via a dirt road from Kalivianì (never paved since the whole area of the promontory of Korikos is subject to strict archaeological restrictions), to which are added about 30 more minutes by feet from where you are forced to park the car, but it is also accessible by sea, more comfortably, by boats departing daily from the port of Trahilos.
